The Photonic Sensing Facility (PSF) at the University of Washington will bring together core users from several participant departments, including the Department of Earth and Space Sciences in the College of the Environment, the School of Oceanography, the Applied Physics Laboratory, and the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. The PSF’s mission is to enable transformative science through dense, easily deployed fiber optic sensing. By its versatility, the exact research priorities of PSF users are diverse.
